  Tucked away from the main town area, this cafe by the shoreline is a beautiful place to have a meal or coffee. Great view, good service and fresh food.

  I was passing through Augusta from Perth in a trip down south. We stopped at the ColourPatch cafe for some lunch and enjoyed an amazing crumbed whiting and chips. The man who served us was lovely, giving us fishing advice and pleasant conversation. Upon leaving the cafe, and having travelled three hours away, I realised I had left my purse there. I called them up and they were able to mail it to my home address so it was waiting upon my return. This saved me many hours of travelling time and I cannot describe how thankful I am. Even after I received it in the mail, I was phoned again to ensure it arrived safely. Overall, their food was fantastic and their customer experience went above and beyond. I cannot wait to return to Augusta to show my appreciation. Thank you!!!

  Terrible service. Bitchy attitude. Just couldn't be bothered with us at all. Spent the whole time telling other people off for sitting on her chairs. Told someone in our group that there was no toilet even though we know there was. Will not be returning here again the next time I'm in the area. There's a much nicer place in the town. You might not be too bothered about passing tourist trade that never returns but it's pretty easy to get a bad reputation with the locals. A great pity because the coffee and cake were good.
